I had a pet that marked all over my house and I have had my carpets professionally cleaned several times. I paid about $700 to have my entire house of carpeting cleaned and each time, the smell eventually came back and I was in the same boat.

We decided to move and were trying to get our house ready to put on the market. I was mortified that we would have to give a large carpeting allowance for the bad shape our carpeting was in in some areas. I was able to walk on my carpet immediately and the smell is still gone (it has now been 3 months.) Even then little stains in the carpet near the entryway have not returned as they always have in the past. When my realtor came to look over the home she said the carpets looked amazing and we would not need to offer a carpet allowance at all!

I love what 1-800-DRYCARPET was able to do for me and my carpeting. The only negative comment I have is that the little yellow crystals do tend to collect against the edge of the carpet and along where the carpet and other floor surfaces meet and not all of these were cleaned up when the team left my house. I simply got out my vacuum and hose and cleaned up the granules that got left behind. Not a big deal at all for what turned out to be the best $225 I ever spent on my carpets.
